This Tribeca residence is built on top of two existing five story structures crossing a full city block. The new modern unit has open space plan with three terraces that offer 360 degree views of the city. The linear layout arranges space along an elongated water feature separating dining, piano room and study/projection room connecting all spaces together. The water’s delicate movement visually adds to the calmness of the space and became an abstract reflection in the ceiling during night time.

The adjacent terrace is aligned with the pool creating a continuous indoor/outdoor spaces; this pathway ends with larger than life size statue of the Buddha whose inescapable gaze can be noticed across the water through the arched bridge linking foyer and dining. The pool is aligned with the sunset and creates a place for meditation and get away from the city noise.
